• Smb engineers manufactures various types for application in the sugar industry. Grill type magnetic separator in installed in bucket elevator inlet, bin top, graders where sugar passes through the grills. Its magnet bars rotate in grill housing and could be removed by plugging out, cleaned and placed in without loss of time. It also available is drawer type magnetic separators that is installed at sugar discharging chute of grader or at bagging point. This drawer is detachable to demagnetise the system and removal of iron particles arrested. Its hooks are provided for holding the sugar bags. Rail type magnetic separator is installed on the grass hoppers (inside walls and mounting outside), at minimum two places. The magnet face is placed towards the flow of sugar blanket to arrest the fine iron particles while passing of sugar from hopper, and its units are fabricated fully in ss and fitted with high power, permanent earth magnets. Other designs are magnetic trap for pipelines, drum for cane carrier, conveyors u-magnets for hopper, magnetic humps and plates, for various applications or as per requirements. .
