• Grade h5-2000 high-grade polyolefin adhesive lined heat shrink tube provides environmental and mechanical protection. Its applications are h5-2000 developed for use on standard metal pipes used in automobile and refrigeration industry to provide protection on automotive brake and fuel and metal pipelines in areas exposed to mechanical abuse and moistur. This product is prositioned on straight pipe lenghts prior to the second end nut fitting. Each size of h5-2000 tubing has been designed for use on a specific standard size of metal pipr. The product continously shrinks on application of heat above 110c and the adhesive melts and flows around the substrate,eliminating air gaps. Once installed, the pipes are bent and formed. Installation: equipment to install h5-2000 will depend on production capacity and pipe lenght. Generally, controlled and the heater powerful enough in order to achieve the required temperature profile on the metal pipe and surface of the tubing. .
