• Offered by smd pump & engineering the (drum) pumps, are apt electric motor-operated pumps for transfering fluids from barrels. Various models adaptable for handling a variety of fluids ranging from solvents, petroleum products etc, to highly viscous fluids, highly corrosivae acids are offered. These pumps are sealless-type having unique double-suction impellers and dry run capability. There is also choice of the tube material in polypropylene, pvdf and ss. There is choice of splash proof, tffc, explosion-proof and air motors. The motors are of high-speed, with speeds ranging up to 10000 rpm, which provide the means to the pumps to develop high heads while delivering reasonably high flow rates. Length of the tubes is designed to benefit standard size barrels and therefore, the pumps can be directly hemmed into the barrels without any kits or attachments. The barrel pumps have good application in drugs and pharmaceutical plants, chemical process industries, pesticide plants, ppwer plants (for transfer of fuel), etc..
