• Gem equipments presents regenerative desiccant compressed air dryers. These dryers with towers are mainly designed to preserve the heat of absorption released during the drying cycle. The air enters the bottom of the tower and flows upward. Up flow drying permits the liquid in the inlet air to settle out on the bottom of the tower. As the air flows through the tower it is in contact with the desiccant for sufficient time to produce the design dew point. About 98% of the heat of absorption and a minimum amount of purge air is needed for regeneration. This prevents the bed from floating (fluidizing) and the desiccant from degrading (dusting). The check valve throttles a portion of the dry air by means of an orifice, which reactivates the desiccant in tower ii. The cycle is continued at a pre-set time. Highly accurate electronic timer offers higher pressure and lower dew points.Its features: a front mounted control panel with power on light, on-off switch and tower pressure gauges supplied with pre and after filter, amply sized non corrosive aluminium towers; heavy-duty purge exhaust muffler for noiseless operation; non-lubricated soft seated control valves; stainless steel support screens and air diffusers; furnished in for easy mounting arrangement; and dryer is completely assembled, piped and wired at factory..
