• 6-station indexing automatic turret head machines are available with 3-piece hirth coupling for accurate and fast indexing of spindles. Turret head is mounted on slide having precision lm guide ways + ball screw construction. Slide / turret movement is controlled by ac servo motor and programmable control .It also helps in programming various machining cycles and parameters. The main advantage of this machine is its ability to perform various operations such as drilling, core drilling, reaming, counter boring, spot facing, tapping in same axis without removing component which helps in avoiding multiple machine set-ups and frequent loading / unloading of components in different fixtures which in turn eliminates unwanted positioning error, manual feeding errors etc and provide consistent production quality output. Its spindle speed variation is stepless from 280 - 3000 rpm and operations upto 20mm drilling and m14 tapping in mild steel and upto 30mm drilling and m20 tapping in aluminium are also possible. This machine can also be provided with special versions having indexing slide or x - y co-ordinate tables, combination tools etc to enhance the useful ness of the machine.
