• Ppi comes through with pti-3p, a compact, hand-held, battery operated, digital temperature indicator with a 31 digit lcd. It is calibrated 2 for k (cr-ai) type thermocouple or rtd pt-100 sensor for various temperature ranges covering -100 c to +1,200 c. Optionally, for pt-100 input, 0.1 c resolution is available for temperature range up to 199.9 c. The cold junction compensation is in-built and automatic for thermocouple input. The display indicates "1"for open/broken sensor input. It operates on a 9 v (eveready 216 or equivalent) battery and features automatic "lo bat"(battery low) indication. The circuitry is designed to consume very low power to ensure long battery life (approx 100 hrs - intermittent operation). Ppi also offers about 21 different types of probes to be used with pti-3p for various applications..
