• Morehouse dead weight load cell calibrator has standard capacities pasturing from 500 lb to 30,000 lb or equivalent in kgf/newtons. The calibrations can be done in both, compression and tension modes. There are no intervening levers or fixtures between the weight complements of the machine and the instrument being calibrated to introduce ratio and beam deflection errors. The loading stages are flexible to accept instruments of varying heights and to permit for tension as well as compression calibrations. The weights supplied with both machines are machined from stainless steel and adjusted to a variation of better than 0.003% of their nominal weight. The accuracy of the weight is certified traceable to the national bureau of standards of the united states..
