Shaft mounted gearboxes in sizes tm 06 to tm 16 to suit various motor ratings and output speed needs have been designed. These conform to different international and national standards in terms of dimensions, material of construction and tolerances. Pinions and gears confirm to din-6 tolerances. Squirrel cage motors from 0.18 kw to 54.5 kw manufactured by an iso 9001 company and having ce marking are used. The motors have standard ip-55 enclosures and have class-f insulation. Gears and pinions are designed in r20 series. All gears and pinions, manufactured from low carbon alloy steels, are 100% helical, case hardened and profile ground conforming to din-6 standard. Output shafts manufactured from medium carbon alloy steels are duly hardened and ground. All keys are as per din-6885. The gear cases have either ball or taper-roller bearings of ample rating and are splash lubricated to give rated l-10 life of 40000 hrs..
