They are operated under vacuum condition. Oil is forced by atmospheric pressure through heating chambers to raise oil temperature to level desire of. Oil is then drawn into a vacuum chamber where it is exposed in the form of thin layer to the vacuum at a very slow flow rate. The oil exposed to a vacuum, where water dissolved gases, air and other low range volatilise are boiled by heat/ vacuum process. Its features include: removes water in single pass; does not remove additive from oil, flow pattern does not agitate the oil; modular design; weather-proof enc losures; and designed for unattended operations. .
