• It ensures hygienic working atmosphere in the hard chrome plating area and keeps the outlet emission free from hazardous fumes since the total chrome is recovered and recycled back there are no air pollution of effluent treatment problems the chromic acid fumes generated during the hard chrome plating process can be effectively exhausted and recovered by employing a fourth stage recovery system consisting of an inline entrainment separator in the first stage located close to the suction port which condenses the fumes and sends it back to the tank through a drain pipe and siphon arrangement the bottom of the chrome recovery scrubber is made out out of a transparent sheet to indicate the level of liquid chrome collected in the scrubber .
