It is a meter which has easy to use and see features in an irregular, multi function insulation resistance tester. Features: the 1520 combines insulation resistance testing, ac/dc voltage measurement and lo ohms function, in one rugged and favorable tool. Tthis device is used for testing insulation in power system wiring and motor windings in addition to offering a lo ohms function for permanence and ground connection testing. Very easy to use with a simple interface, the 1520 caters insulation resistance testing up to 4000 mohm, with three output voltages: 250 v, 500 v and 1000 v. The fluke 1520 switches automatically to voltage sensing when connected to a live circuit with voltage over 30 v and provides ac/dc voltage measurement up to 600 v. Fluke engineers designed the 1520 megohmmeter for the most exacting testing jobs. It has a large backlit lcd with analogue bar graph and digital display plus a last reading memory display for insulation resistance and lo ohms.
