• Pin/pore hole detector - model-50 is the latest offering from transera systems. It is designed to detect unpainted points/spots, pin holes/pores, of any thin dielectric film, paint/coat on any metal surface up to a thickness of 500 micron. Model-50 is a simple, hand held, battery operated, easy to use, reliable and problemless instrument. The location of pin hole/pore is indicated by visual and audio means. The unit is provided with a 9 v battery, moving probe, and a sponge. It uses wet sponge technique which is not all distructive in nature. The instrument is of use in industrial/research organisations where films oflacquer paint, varnish, and ptfe are applied on metal surfaces for corrosion protection purposes. Model-50 is useful for coach builders, machinery makers, automobile industry, shipbuilders and repairers,refineries, petro industry, pipe manufacturers, port trusts, electronic and electrical equipment manufacturers, paint shops, painting industry, and steel/aluminium furniture manufacturers..
