• Helical gears/bevel helical gear is the latest product from
elecon engineering co ltd.This is in technical collaboration with plv antrieb werner reimers gmbh & co, germany. Based on the modular gear concept is its design and it features monoblock housing for the sizes up to 31 and split housing for the sizes up to 31 and split housing from size 35 to 67. There is a high degree of flexibility as regards to mounting position of gear units, inverted, horizontal, vertical, etc. Other features include common housing for helical as well as spiral cum helical gear units; high degree of standardization and adoption of common parts gives optimum availability and faster delivery of spares; case hardened and ground gears with profile correction for optimum load carrying capacity; gears and bearings are splash lubricated as standard; forced lubrication by built-on or motor driven pump as optional; additional cooling devices such as fan cooling, cooling coil, external oil cooler, etc, depending upon service conditions. Output shaft execution is in following manners - solid shaft, hollow shaft with key and hollow shaft with shrink disc. Output torque capacity - 4, 80,000 nm maximum, ratio range - 1.25 - 710 and input speed - 1500 rpm (max)..
