   •  The porotest-dc from elektro-physik, germany, is the most light-weight and handy holiday deterctor in providing wating to the metal this instrument has a control unit a high voltage probe, as the test elctrode is passed over the surface any defective pots are indiacated visually by a spark and has a built in chart showing test voltage required for differnt coating thickness. It can be used for testing curved surfaces, pipes, pipelines, products which are coated to withstand a highly corrosive environment like ships, cars offshore and oil industries, and steel condtruction, vessels and anywhere where testing of insulating coatings applied to a conductive base (all metals and concrete) is required. The method allows instant repair of defects. .
