• The external flushing of a clear and non corrosive buffer fluid is circulated at a pressure of 1.5 to 2.2 bars above the stuffing box pressure between the 2 seals these can be offered with inboard seals and outboard seals the double mechanical seals are recommended for liquids which change their properties when they come in contact with the atmosphere .
